Your Hair Is Growing… It’s Just Breaking Off

Your Hair Is Growing… It’s Just Breaking Off

To all our, blondies and colour lovers… You know when you say:

“My hair literally DOES NOT grow past here.”

I hate to break it to you, but your hair probably is growing.

It’s just snapping off at the other end.

When we colour our hair, and especially when we bleach it , we’re removing some of the natural pigment from inside the hair.

Which gives us the gorgeous blonde, balayage, highlights and expensive-looking colour we wanted…

BUT

It also leaves the hair more porous than natural, uncoloured hair.

Basically, your hair has been through something.

It can lose moisture more easily, which means more dryness, more frizz, less softness, less movement and less of that gorgeous glossy swish we all want.

And when hair gets really dry? It becomes brittle.

Instead of stretching and moving when you brush it, it can literally just SNAP.

While you’re brushing it.
Putting it up.
Running your fingers through it.

And suddenly those lovely few centimetres you’ve spent months growing are on your hairbrush instead of your head.

Enter: the hair mask 🥥🥑

This is why I’m forever telling my clients to use a MASK.

Not buy it, use it twice, put it in the bathroom cupboard to save for a treat and rediscover it six months later.

Actually use it.

Once a week or twice if your hair is bleached, highlighted or particularly thirsty.

There are plenty of hair masks for dry hair, but the best hair mask is one you’ll actually use consistently and that gives those dry lengths some serious nourishment.

Our Coconut & Avocado Hair Mask is vegan hair care packed with coconut, avocado, shea and argan oils.

Your bleached ends will basically want to drink it.

And then… oil those ends ✨

A little drop of hair oil every day.

I'm talking just a LITTLE DROP, we’re going for glossy, not chip-shop chic.

It helps smooth frizz, adds shine and gives the hair a bit of softness, so your brush can glide through rather than fighting its way through crispy ends.

If you’re looking for hair products for damaged hair or hair products for bleached hair, honestly, don’t make it complicated.

Mask. Oil. Be gentle. Repeat.

You spent enough money getting that gorgeous colour…

Let’s make it look and feel designer.
